Programs & Class Offerings
Private Individual & Group Programs:
The "S" Factor
The "S" Factor or The "Seed" Factor is a holistic, physical fitness coaching program that places importance on identifying what "seeds" need to be sown to contribute to a healthier lifestyle. In this program, we dig up toxic thought processes, habits, and the like, replacing them with healthier "seeds" to be nourished with your unique needs in mind in an effort to affect a more desirable end result.
The "S" Factor approaches health from two different perspectives:
Class Offerings:
Heal, Groove Movement
Dance is therapeutic - making your good days better and on the bad days providing escape, a place to speak your truth, expression where there are no words. This class is a community social experiment in self-love and acceptance. How can we use the body to process our emotions? This class answers that question with prompts that allow us to walk through memories with a common theme like love, anger, exhaustion and weave a thick tapestry from our individual stories. Movement is derived heavily from dance and improvisational practices.
Lazy Mindfulness
This class is a light movement meditation class, aimed at offering students time for mindfulness with low impact movement. Attendees will learn to find their individual "pocket of peace" as we focus heavily on coming back to breath, relationship to physical self, relationship to physical space, and awareness of though patterns. Movement is derived from stretch, yoga, and/or dance-based practices.
Inhale, Exhale
THC is utilized in the form of a pre-roll, edible, and/or infused teas to provide our attendees with the opportunity to melt into the process of connection between the body, mind, spirit and physical space! We will use movement as a therapeutic tool in conjunction with THC to tap into our inner creativity & processing power. These classes offer a safe learning space for growth and self-love as you find more joy moving in your beautiful bodies! This class closely follows Lazy Mindfulness' format with movement varying in degrees of impact.
Come to Your Senses
A predecessor to Whine After Wine, Come to Your Senses allows participants a fun, judgment-free space to sip on some whine or mixed drink and melt into sensual dance. In this class we'll focus on drills and choreography of varying length that offer the body release in the chest, waistline, neck, and limbs. This purpose of this class is not to look like me, but to find yourself - tapping into your Divine Masculine & Feminine energies to offer the body balance. Movement is derived from Afro-Caribbean, Modern, Hip-Hop, and Heels practices. Bring a water bottle and come in a 'fit that makes you feel your most confident self, ready to work!
The Garden Grooves: Labb Session
These Labb Sessions are a supportive space for creatives to grow through sharing communal energy, knowledge, love of art/dance, resources, self-love, meditation (mvmt & still), and a desire to nurture our seeds with special attention to those which have been neglected. Between rounds of movement, attendees talk, drink/smoke, eat, etc. Important conversation points about the dance community often come to light as well as prompts offered to spark creativity in movement. Sessions always end with a still meditation to flex our mind-body-soul connection muscles, find peace in stillness, and give gratitude as a way to close out the space for we find ourselves grounded through connection to our roots (our ancestry, upbringing, habits) and we blossom/bloom with the support and encouragement of our community (environment, social circles).

The "S" Factor approaches health from two different perspectives:
- “Groove” Track - builds flexibility, mobility, and strength with dance as its driving force. We will create a unique fitness plan that centers your growth as a dancer/mover with additional focus on finding your groove, balance and musical sensitivity.
- “Flex” Track - builds flexibility, mobility, and strength with functional movement as its driving force. We will create a unique fitness plan that centers your growth as an athlete, martial artist, 9-5er, and everything in between looking to lead a healthier lifestyle.
